GENERAL NEWS
Safety Message for CMIT South Students
At the beginning of the school year, information about drop off and pick up procedures were shared with our community. The procedures were set by keeping the safety of our students and staff in mind. We appreciate your cooperation to minimize potential challenges and incidents:

- The earliest drop off time is 7:25 am while parents are recommended to keep the students in the cars until 7:35 am, which is the time the doors open

- The parents are expected to arrive by 2:40 pm to get in line for pick up

- Students should not be directed to wait in front of the building or on the other side. Such a practice not only gives mixed messages to the students but also leaves them out without supervision.

- Speed limits and one-way signs must be obeyed.

All students must be picked up on time and wait under the canopy that was built for our students.

Let's keep our school safe and orderly as we are getting ready to add 160 more students for next school year. Thank you for your cooperation and partnership on this sensitive matter.

Snacks
There was a notice sent that Effective, Monday, October 26th, 2015 we will no longer allow sunflower or popcorn for school snack. Your school staff has consistently requested students be mindful of the mess it leaves and to make sure they clean up after themselves, and to no avail we still clean up after them daily. At this time we are asking you to leave sunflower seeds and popcorn at home.

Students, please make sure you bring alternative snacks.
