Club Volleyball Starting Soon in the Area (Information for all Ages)
If you are looking for some volleyball options for your student, please check out the flyers and links to see information I have received. If your student is interested in playing volleyball, club volleyball is a great way to get them involved and develop their skills. Club tryouts are happening at the start of November for most clubs. If you aren't ready or can't make the commitment to club volleyball just yet, please take note of the websites, as some clubs offer clinics throughout the year as well. The Chesapeake Region Volleyball Association (CHRVA) has put together a spreadsheet of clubs in our region. The sheet includes each club's tryout dates, website, and contact information should you have any questions. UPCOMING EVENTS
Saturday Academy
Greetings CMIT South Family, Saturday Academy will begin on October 21, 2022, and we are excited to spread the news about our program. We have two sessions that you may choose from 9:00 am-10:30 am and 10:40 am -12:30 pm or both sessions. Your scholars will be dropped off and picked up on the same side as normal dropoffs and pick-ups. I have a sign that is outside of the door that we will utilize each Saturday. This is the only door that students will use each week. I will be waiting for your scholar to sign in and direct them to where they need to go. What do I need from you and your scholar? I need your scholar to know what he/she needs assistance with. Upon entering the first questions I will ask them are. What grade are you in and what do you need help with today? Are you staying for both sessions? I need you as parents/guardians to provide your scholar with a snack if possible if they plan to stay for both sessions because that is a long time without something to eat. I will try to have a snack each Saturday, but it may not be what they want. Most importantly, I need you to respect our time together. We are providing a service, but we also have families to get home to on the weekends. Please pick your child up on time. Lastly, I need you to make sure your scholar comes with his/her device to work. If you have not already registered your scholar please use the link to do so for documentation purposes. https://forms.gle/2jrTW7qvj3wiAKJy5 Should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me gjones@cmitsouth.org. I look forward to seeing you on Saturdays. Sincerely,

Georgia Jones, Testing Coordinator
