HS SGA Holiday Canned Food Drive
Hi all, Keeping with tradition at CMIT-South, we are organizing a canned food drive this winter. This event will be for the rest of the 2020 calendar year. The SGA is collecting canned foods and non-perishables to donate to food insecure families and a local food bank. We know this year's holidays are going to look very different from previous years and we want to do our part to help. While the posted flyer says donations will be collected for the month of November, that is only for the student competition portion. We will continue to accept donations from families through December. Our student government leaders will safely, collect, organize, and distribute the donations we receive. Canned food items can be dropped off at the school in the containers under the middle school entrance canopy. Donations can also be ordered and mailed directly to the school. Please mail to CMIT South SGA - 9822 Fallard Drive, Upper Marlboro MD 20772. If you would like to help, please contact Mr. Wassam (nwassam@cmitsouth.org) or our President - Ms. Chelesea Bryant (cbryant@cmitsouth.org or sga_hs@cmitosuth.org). If you or someone you know needs additional assistance, please reach out and we will help in any way that we can!
