Field Day was a success!
|
Thank you to all of the volunteers who supported the end of the year field day. The students had a chance to roll in the human bowling ball; dance with the Just Dance video; play soccer and football; listen to music by CMIT's own, Mr. Rooda, play board games, enjoy snow cones and cotton candy; and eat lots of food. The students and teachers really enjoyed the Dunk Tank. Thank you again!

FIELD DAY WAS A SUCCESS!!!
|
This year has been a year of great partnership and successes. CMIT South is by far the best organization representing the interest of the students. The PTO sponsored many many activities, supported so many events and initiated many partnership so that our scholars' school experiences continues to be enriched. CMIT South could not have had the year we had with our PTO. Parents are encouraged to become active members of this body. You can have a lot of positive impact on your child's school experience by becoming active. Please make a commitment to be more active next school year.
Our PTO sponsored field day gave students a well deserved start to the summer break. We are very thankful to the PTO Leadership, board, members and volunteers without whom none of this would have been possible.
Thank you.

Summer Assignment
|
Hello students,
This was a year well spent in English. We have been introduced to many concepts and strategies. You did it! We will need these skills for the next academic year. As a reminder, you will be reading the Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. I know it is a familiar book. However, I thought this would be a great example novel to achieve the goal this summer. You will read this novel and respond to all 16 activities on the given Literature Board. What is the goal? The goal is to be able to comprehensively move through a novel and gain a deep understanding of what the author is conveying through your reading lenses. This is through literary elements and comprehension strategies. These activities will include reading and writing simultaneously. Many of these strategies will be familiar to you. You all have been a great group this year. You have taught me so much and I am looking forward to another year of new adventures, enrichment, and growth. The information is located in the newsletter. However, I will upload this information to Edmodo as well. Enjoy your summer!!!!!!!!!!!
