CAV 101:Connected and Automated Vehicle Module
We are looking for more people to take part in an extracurricular program on Communicating and Automated Vehicles. Participants will learn how to drive and program the Sphero RVR, a small vehicle with sensors that can detect color, infrared radiation, and communicate with others of its kind. We are particularly interested in operating the vehicles together as a fleet using elements of artificial intelligence. The group will meet a couple of hours each month and work through the course material provided by MDOT. Dates and times will be worked out after the student members are selected. Please fill out the form if you are interested in: https://forms.gle/sk3DPPffmonLdLqb7 Check the CAV AASHTO TRAC Manual for more information on the program from the link below https://cmitacademy.org/highschool/2020/12/23/cav-101-mdot-communicating-and-automated-vehicles-course/ If you have any questions, send an email to firstrobotics@cmitacademy.org

Parent Academy #2 - College Knowledge Presentation
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students, This is just to follow up with a warm thank you for your participation in our most recent Parent Academy. During this session, Ms. Gaudette and Ms. Ryan responded to a variety of questions about college preparation for the high school student. In response to numerous requests, we are including the presentation which the Counseling Department developed and shared during our session, and you will find Ms. Ryan has amended the original to include questions and responses to those inquiries you presented during the session. We hope you find this resource helpful, and as always, please reach out with any follow up questions about preparation for entry into college. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1LkBVPBnzGJxdw8yTIIJfn3abYLKcdXIWWdSDmrqmTkA/edit
