SAT READING PREP FOR JUNIORS
As you know we have started SAT prep for math on Tuesdays since the last month. Because of success of the program, now we would like to include SAT reading prep. Our college tutor, Sandra Sandeep, is a National Merit Finalist recipient (Top 1%) who has volunteered to help our students on Thursdays after school from 3:05pm to 4:30pm. Sandra is a very skilled person as far as SAT and college prep concern. She will do all types of activities required to boost our students' SAT scores in reading part of the test. Again this course is only for CMIT Juniors and it is free. However students are required to register online through the website below. www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0A4CAAA62EA0FF2-satreading

Consider purchasing a calculator!
As we prepare for the PARCC assessments in math, we will complete many real world application problems (PARCC Type III problems.) Many of these have numbers that are messy! A calculator that adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides will help your middle school student succeed with confidence. You can purchase one at a dollar store. For example, the Base 8 DG35 model is quite good and has recently been found at Dollar General.
