Welcome to Second Grade!
|
We are beyond excited to welcome all our new second grade friends! This is going to be an amazing school year. We hope everyone is as excited about it as we are.
The first couple of weeks we will be putting a lot of effort into getting to know everyone, as well as, locking down the rules and procedures for second grade.
Homework this year will be distributed the first day of the week, and collected the last day of the week. This being said, homework for the first couple weeks of school will likely be a review of first grade skills. Once we get full swing into the second grade curriculum, homework will be based on what the students will be learning in class that day.
There will be papers coming home this week with information about the school year. Please make sure to check your child's take home folder daily and fill out any forms that may be required.
If you have any questions, the best way to reach out is to message your child's teacher on ClassDojo.
We cannot wait to see everyone on Tuesday!
