COLLEGE CORNER
JUNIOR CLASS RING BREAKFAST
Class rings are a symbol of honor and achievement, but also of personal expression. On one side of the ring is a unique symbol that each individual chooses to have engraved on his or her own ring. It’s personal, and it’s meant to trigger some of your fondest memories made at CSP.

College Acceptances

CSP seniors have done a great job! They have received acceptance offers from many colleges. Remember, many colleges have “Rolling Admissions,” which allows seniors to submit their applications any time within a certain timeframe, and decisions are made as students apply, rather than waiting for the deadline. Seniors should complete the application process ASAP.
So far, CSP students have received acceptance letters from:

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Florida Institute of Technology
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology
Hood College
Johnson & Wales
Juniata College
Keystone College
Penn State University
Robert Morris University
Salisbury University
St John' College
Towson University
Washington College

Holiday Happenings
Students in the leadership program who are also members of the volleyball club took time off their busy schedule to bond and decorate holiday cookies.

The leadership program selects students that exhibit academic excellence, are involved in extracurricular activities and active volunteers in their communities. These students are offered mentorship, college preparation, leadership opportunities, and participation in the Congressional Award Program.

Girls, keep up the good work!

Scholarships
Many of our seniors can compete for scholarships through a county-based organization, Scholarships for Scholars. There are scholarships for all kinds of things on the website, and students have already been given information about it. There are additional pamphlets in Dr Gonzalez's office. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
PTSO Kidstuff Fundraiser
CSP Family,

We need a couple of hands on deck in order to prepare the packages that will be sent home with our students for the PTSO Kidstuff Fundraiser that will run from January 9th to January 24th. We need a couple of parents to help fill the bags with the fundraiser information.

It should only take one to 2 hours and we'll do it in one of the rooms at the school.

If you can assist even for 30 minutes, please reply back to let us know, so that we know who's on deck to help and how much help we'll have. The more people we have the quicker we'll get it done.

What: Help prepare fundraiser packets
When: Thursday, January 5th, 5-7 pm
Where: CSP (exact location in school TBD)
Why: Because we need you 😃

If you have questions and/or to RSVP, please contact the PTSO Board at mycspptsoboard@googlegroups.com.

Thanks,
Bee Azan
Co-VP, CSP PTSO

The robotics club would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holidays. After the break, we will have just a few short weeks to finalize our robot before the first competition. The club is currently in the building stages and will move to testing after assembly is complete. The club has some interesting and innovative ideas regarding this year's competition. We would like to thank Lunge Technology for their donation to the club. Again, have a fun and safe break, we'll be back to work in just a few weeks.

Thank You and Have a Great Break
The 9th grade class would like to thank everyone who came out to enjoy Five Guys Burgers with us in November. After waiting patiently, we recently found out that we made a grand total of $207.65 to be used in the 9th grade activity fund. We will be planning many more fundraising events like this and will set our goals even higher than the previous $207.65. We will need the help of the CSP community, but I know we can accomplish our goals. We've already witnessed the support of the entire CSP community for the 9th grade class.

The block party has been a great success, with many of the students participating in a variety of activities. Computer Games Galore was very popular and a great way to kick off our winter holidays. I look forward to seeing everyone come January and hope everyone has a great holiday season. Remember to set your New Year's Resolutions and stick to them this year. Have a great holiday.
