CSP Parents, new and old:

In my 8 years at CSP, I have never had the opportunity to write something to the parents and I intend to take full advantage of the opportunity, so here it goes.

It's hard to figure out exactly what to say to many of you. Many of the parents in our school community have been a large part of my life along side their children for as long as I've been here. I can never fully express how much I appreciate the kindness and caring you've shown me over the years. When I fell very ill in my first few weeks at CSP, it was parents who expressed the most concern and took care of me. That is something I will never forget; love and kindness shown to someone who was essentially a stranger. The love that I receive from all of you--your kind words, jokes with your children, the interest you show in my life, the confidence that you have in me-- has only grown stronger over the years. I am both humbled and honored to be a part of this community. I don't know what fate gave me such a gift, but please know that I never take it for granted.

Thank you for your support over the years, for the holiday cards, the kind words, for trusting me with your children, for the excitement over my pregnancy, for the genuine smiles and hugs, for everything that you do that makes my life a little brighter and my job that much more rewarding. Thank you for helping to teach me more about life in the last 8 years than I had in the previous 23. Thank you for encouraging the bonds that I have built with your children; the relationships that I have with many of them are one of the things in this world of which I am most proud.

Our parent population is one of the major factors in CSP's magical atmosphere. Thank you for always being a part of that.

After working here at CSP for the past seven years and seeing all the things that our parents help us accomplish, I have to say that our parents are truly amazing! I especially want to thank the parents of the Class of 2019 as they played an important role in making sure that the sophomore class is able to host fundraisers and go on field trips. They are more than willing to donate their time and money to make sure those students are able to participate in numerous class activities and get the best experience possible! Thank you for all you guys do to help make our jobs run smoother!

Thank you for sending us your best each day. I always look forward to spending the day with the students with whom I have been blessed to work. They make me laugh, smile, and find humor in my profession. They make me frustrated at times, cause me to question myself, and sometimes cry. You make sure homework is done and tests are studied for, and we know that sometimes this involves more energy than it should.
