Dear 8th Grade Parents,
We know you are as excited as we are to recognize our 8th graders as they make the transition from middle school to high school. This year's promotion ceremony will be on Thursday, June 16th at 1:30 pm in the CSP gymnasium.
Each student will receive two tickets for family members to attend the event. During the week of June 6th, additional tickets will be available for purchase for $5.00. The number of ticket that may be purchased will be subject to availability.
8th graders will be asked to attend school during the day on June 16th, where they will celebrate their last day of middle school with a dance, cake, pizza, and other fun activities. Students are expected to arrive at school dressed for the promotion with dressy attire. Students should avoid jeans, sneakers and other casual items. Boys should wear dress pants and collared shirts, and girls should wear dresses or skirts. Skirts and dresses should be at least knee length and strapless tops are forbidden.

Summer School!
|
The 2016 Summer School schedules are available at http://www.aacps.org/html/instr/evening/booklet.pdf. Remember, CSP is an E-Free School, so if a student fails a class, the student must make up the class outside of CSP. Summer School is a great way to do that. If your student failed a class in the first semester, you should have received an email explaining Summer School procedures. If your student fails a class in the second semester, you will receive an email after final grades come out.
