Covid-19 Information

If your child tests positive for Covid or has Covid-like symptoms and you are keeping them home because they are symptomatic please contact Ms. O’Brien at aobrien@mycsp.org. In the email please include your child’s first and last name, the date the symptoms started, and the date of the positive test.

As a reminder, if your student is experiencing any one of the following symptoms, please keep them at home.  We want to keep the safety of our students and staff at the forefront.

~Fever of 100.4 or higher

~sore throat

~cough

~difficulty breathing

~diarrhea or vomiting

~new loss of taste or smell

~new onset of severe headache (especially with fever)

For those students who are quarantined for more than one instructional day, a designated teacher will reach out to offer support.

Great News! The Class of 2022 Commencement ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The ceremony will take place from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Severna Park High School. This is all the details we have at this time. As we receive more, we will share them with you.

Parents, There will be a mandatory graduation rehearsal here at CSP on May 24, from 11-12:30 pm. All seniors wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony must attend.

The 7th grade class will be leading a service learning project to benefit the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Starting after Spring Break, April 19th through May 20th. All students are encouraged to bring unopened/new cereal boxes to be collected as a food donation. Students will bring their donations to their 1st period teacher. The winning grade level with the most cereal boxes donated will earn an incentive (TBD) at the end of May. 7th graders will be helping plan, collect, and organize the food drive as part of their service learning project. They will have activities throughout their classes to help support the service learning project. See flyer for details

Our graduating seniors' last day of school is Thursday, May 26. This is also the same day we will hold our senior Awards and Breakfast. Parents attending the events should have their IDs scanned at the school beginning Monday, May 23, to avoid a long wait.

Earthfest is back! This year we will hold Earthfest on Friday June 3. This is a all day event, with games, activites, and Food trucks. More information to follow.

Hello Families! We are excited to welcome the return of CSP’s annual CultureFest -- a night where we celebrate the rich diversity of our global, national, and CSP cultures. This year’s celebration includes: Food Trucks Family Prepared Dishes Games Displays Performances And much, much more! We are so excited for your attendance and participation! Where: Chesapeake Science Point When: June 17th, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 pm How: Classes across CSP will be engaging in cultural learning during the 4th quarter. Come out and see what we’ve learned.
