Statistics 10-Jun-21 4:00pm Digital (At Home)
If you are taking a paper/pencil exam, you will be taking the AP exam at CSP. The AP exam runs like a normal year, and you have to report to the building at 7:30 am.
If you are taking a digital exam, you will be taking the AP exam at home. You have to have the Digital Testing App downloaded on your computer (this will already be completed by the School Issued Chromebooks), complete the setup for each exam 1-3 days before the date of the AP exam, and log into the Digital Testing App to take the test 30 minutes before the exam starts. The exam will automatically start at the designated testing time. Below are the detailed steps that you will need to complete.
Our digital AP exam students need to check the attached documents.
Step 1 | Now | Download and Install the Digital Testing App and Log In
The Digital Testing Application is now available for AP students at cb.org/ap2021examapp.
If students have a personal laptop or desktop, students will need to download the digital testing app. When the App is installed, students should open it and login with their College Board username and password. This completes the installation process.
If students have a school issued Chromebook, CSP will automatically install the digital testing app. Students should open the App and login. To access the Digital Testing App, students will need to click on "Apps" in the lower left corner on the login screen and choose "2021 Digital AP Exams" and login with their College Board username and password.
Students may not use a personal Chromebook.
Step 2 | As Soon as Possible | Practice with Example Questions in the Digital Testing App
Digital practice gives students the chance to practice with example questions in the same application they’ll use on exam day and confirm that their technology works as expected.
It is strongly recommended that all students taking digital exams look at the App Demo and complete the digital practice available in the Digital Testing App.
Step 3 | 1–3 Days Before Exam Day | Complete Exam Setup for Each Digital Exam
For each digital AP Exam they take, students must complete the exam setup step in the Digital Testing App. This step loads their exam onto the computer they’re going to test with. Completing this step is required 1–3 days before each exam. Without taking this step for each exam, students will not be able to test.
• Exam setup opens 3 calendar days before the exam date and must be completed no later than the day before the exam.
• Exam setup must be done on the computer the student will use for testing for each AP exam that is being taken.
• Once setup is completed, the computer can’t be shared with another student until the exam is over and responses have been submitted to the AP Program.
Step 4 | 30 Minutes Before the Exam | Check-In to the Exam
On exam day, all students must check in 30 minutes before the official start time of the exam—at 11:30 a.m. EDT for 12 p.m. exams and 3:30 p.m. EDT for 4 p.m. exams—to complete final pre-exam checks.
• Students can only check in on their testing computer and can’t check in on multiple devices.
• If students don’t start check-in before the start time of the exam, they won’t be allowed to test and will have to request a makeup exam.
• Once check-in is completed, students will see a timer at the top of their screen counting down the time remaining until the start time of the exam.
The exam will begin automatically, and scheduled breaks are built into the testing platform.

Cap and Gown Orders
|
Senior Parents –
Seniors wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony are required to dress in full regalia. We have made every attempt to make sure that you have purchased your child's cap and gown or secured one from an older sibling. If you still need to purchase a cap and gown or just the tassel, you can do so at the link below:
https://www.balfour.com/maryland/hanover/chesapeake-science-point
All cap and gown orders will be delivered to CSP. Seniors that are participating in hybrid learning will sign and receive their order. Those attending virtually will need to have someone come to CSP, sign for, and pick up their order. Once the orders arrive, I will send an email to parents letting you when you can pick up your child's order.
If you have questions, please reach to Ms. O'Brien.

Residency
|
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Although we are a Charter School, we must comply with AACPS policies. Regardless if you are still living in Anne Arundel County, you must notify me when you change your residency. I will then send you a new registration form and a list of the new documents that you will need to return to me.
Failure to do so could result in a request to transfer your student to their home school. They will also follow the same policies and request the same documentation.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Immunizations
|
Parents/Guardians:
I have been contacting some of you with a reminder that your child is due for 1-2 additional immunizations before entering the 7th grade.
Even though students are not physically attending school in the building, they still need these immunizations to move into the 7th grade.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
