Senior Parents – Seniors wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony are required to dress in full regalia. We have made every attempt to make sure that you have purchased your child's cap and gown or secured one from an older sibling. Seniors that are participating in hybrid learning will sign and receive their order. Those attending virtually will need to have someone come to CSP, sign for, and pick up their order. We view informative videos about cool women in science and the business of science industry - from hi-tech fashion to space and medicine advances. Lots of fun "sisterhood" activities, too. Email Mrs. Morandin jmorandin@mycsp.org , if you would like to check us out. Bring a friend! Or arrive on your own, and make a new "sister" friend. We can't wait to meet you (Thursday/Friday).

Yearbook Photos Needed - Please Read!
Hello CSP community! This form is being sent on behalf of the yearbook team. This year has presented new challenges for getting pictures of our students for the yearbook. As a member of this community, if you have any pictures of students that you believe may be appropriate for the yearbook, please send them in through this form. We would love to have pictures of students starting this past summer all the way up to now. Images of students celebrating events, participating in a sports team or club, virtually or in person, participating in classes virtually, or seeing friends virtually or in person are all welcome! There is one rule that we must follow: all images taken ON SCHOOL PROPERTY of students interacting with someone that is not in their immediate family must show students wearing masks and standing at least 6 feet apart. We are so excited to see what you have been up to! Thank you for your help. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScviQ806nQGD_E3sGyLIhrq1c4KXL2OF0xZtZrQsZU35kSelQ/viewform?usp=sf_link Thank you!

Repeat-Free School
Hi CSP Parents, Please see below regarding details on Chesapeake Science Point's NO REPEAT policy. If you have questions and/or concerns regarding this matter, please reach out to your child's school counselor. CSP continues to provide a rigorous and quality education to all students. It has always been our goal to improve upon past practices, find new ways to engage students and make learning something students enjoy. We also believe that high school students need to put forth that same effort in order to become successful adults; therefore, CSP is Repeat Free. If a student receives an E in a required high school course, the class will have to be repeated in an alternate program such as summer school, evening school and twilight school. These programs are available for students to make up credits in courses that they were not successful in the first time; classes at CSP are for students taking them for original credit. If a student does not make up the failed class in one of these alternative programs, there is a chance that we will not be able to schedule the student for the classes required for graduation and the student will have to take classes at CSP for more than four years.

MD/DC/VA Virtual College Fair
Due to the pandemic and school closures, districts across the United States have been resorting to the virtual world for college fairs too. The Virtual Fair for MD, VA, and DC will be held on April 14th, and to participate students will just need to register (by accessing the link below and on the flyer attached), and then log in on the 14th between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. Counselors, teachers, and parents can also register and attend the fair in order to visit the virtual college booths, speak with live college admissions representatives via chat or video conference, take virtual campus tours, and much more. Although the flyer indicates the fair is for AVID schools, it is actually open to ALL high school students (grades 9-12) and their parents. Also, the live portion of the fair will be on April 14th, but the link and the college booths will remain up and available until June so students can return and continue their college search as many times as they wish.
