Repeat-Free School
|
CSP continues to provide a rigorous and quality education to all students. It has always been our goal to improve upon past practices, find new ways to engage students and make learning something students enjoy. We also believe that high school students need to put forth that same effort in order to be become successful adults; therefore, CSP is Repeat Free. If a student receives an E in a required high school course, the class will have to be repeated in an alternate program such as summer school, evening school and twilight school. These programs are available for students to make up credits in courses that they were not successful in the first time; classes at CSP are for students taking them for original credit. If a student does not make up the failed class in one of these alternative programs, there is a chance that we will not be able to schedule the student for the classes required for graduation and the student will have to take classes at CSP for more than four years.

Transfers and Immunization
|
Hello Parent/Guardians,
Just a reminder if your child is transferring or withdrawing from CSP, you will need a transfer packet from me. This takes time to do, so I will need advance notice so that you will receive it in a timely manner. I will need the name and phone number to the school they will be attending.
Upcoming 7th graders will need the Menningoccal (MVC4) and Tetanus, diphtheria & acellular pertusis vaccine (tdap) before entering the 7th grade. If you have not already done so, please send me an updated immunization record when your child receives them.
Thank you,
June Calvert

2019 Track Team makes wakes at Regionals last week - 19 CSP Track athletes to compete at Championships!!!!!!
Note from Coach Watts: CSP Track Team excelled at the Maryland Regional Championships. We embarked upon the year anticipating the challenge to rebuild following the loss of key athletes from last year's team. CSP Athletes accepted the challenge and surpassed all expectations. CSP Track teams has achieved a school record for track. CSP has 19 Athletes that will compete for the 1A Maryland State Track Championship. This a remarkable feat for this organization. Morgan State is the largest track venue in MD where the top High School track athletes in the State compete against one another every year. The coaching staff is extremely proud of the teams accomplishments. Dedication and hard work does pay off. The team’s perseverance and unselfish teamwork’s allowed us to move runners around in various events to achieve our goal and compete on the biggest stage. #Go Tigers, A job well done,
