GENERAL NEWS
Principal's Corner
Happy Friday Families! I hope all is well and we are all taking care of ourselves. This week was a stark reminder that we can't get this work done without you. The admin team wishes to thank the Eighth Grade Parents for taking time out of their schedule to meet with us. We appreciate the team spirit that was displayed and the willingness to continue working together for our scholars. Again, thank you. To the larger school family, thank you for ensuring our scholars took advantage of the amnesty that was provided to them. So many scholars completed and submitted make up assignments it kept our teachers busier than expected. This tell me, what I believe it tells you, our students want to learn and grow. They take pride in the work they do and when given the opportunity to improve, they will take it. Kudos to the CMIT South MHS Scholars! With approximately eight weeks to go before the school year ends (four for Seniors) , let's all try to do everything possible to ensure success. Sometimes the very last lap of the race can be the most challenging! Let's keep our eyes on the finish line and get to the prize. Thank you CMIT South MHS Team! I'm proud to be among you.

The students in Mr. Davidson's Environmental Science and Earth and Space Science classes have grown heirloom vegetables in class for the previous three years. In spite of COVID 19 they are continuing the tradition this year, though at a smaller scale. Every student in the high school is invited to see Mr. Davidson in his room before or after school to claim their heirloom tomato plant. Plants will be sent home with students just before Mothers' Day with instructions on how to plant them outside. Happy Earth Day! (Apr 22)

Our Yearbook Needs Your Help!
Hello Terrific Tiger Scholars and Families! In an effort to streamline the communication from the Yearbook Staff to our student body, we have put together a Google document with links to the various Google forms that the Staffers are using to gather information for this year's yearbook. Please click on the link below and fill out (or have your student fill out) any of the forms that are relevant them? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gklTywFlDzfnqbNhbUHm3j4kM4Yc8-sbspl4w-BQh7E/edit?usp=sharing We will continue to add to this document as the Staff works on the Yearbook so please encourage your Scholar to revisit the form from time to time. We'll continue to post the link in the newsletter as well. Even though this year's yearbook is only in digital format, the staff is still working hard and trying to make it a strong representation of what this school year has been like. The more you and your Scholars contribute - the better it will be! Any pictures submitted will receive photo credit in the yearbook - please only submit pictures you are willing for us to use. Thank you for all of your support and contributions!
