GENERAL NEWS
Principal's Corner
Happy Weekend CMIT South MHS Families! School reopening is just around the corner. Your CMIT South MHS team is diligently preparing for this phase of learning. We appreciate your patience and support as we make sure this phase begins and continues well. Many of you are attending scheduled grade and/or attendance meetings with your scholar's team. Please attend and help ensure your scholar focuses on a successful ending. We are also beginning to put a bit of focus on our graduating seniors. Our professional school counselor, assistant principal, teachers and principal are combing through each record to ensure all required classes have been (are being) taken a successfully completed. We are ensuring all seniors have completed the state required service learning hours. We currently have a portion of seniors who are 4.0 scholars but will not graduate unless they have met the required hours of service learning hours. If your scholars fall in this category, please don't wait! Contact your scholar's counselor and find out what needs to be done, then please do it! There is nothing that anyone at CMIT South MHS or PGCPS will be able to do to help your scholar graduate if this requirement is not met. We cannot waive this important requirement! Only the State can. Currently, the State has not done so. Please don't wait until it's too late. The school's senior team are in the process of considering what interesting and fun virtual activities can be planned for our senior scholars. If you have ideas, please feel free to share with your scholar's teachers. We look forward to hearing from you. Please remember, safety first! Having fun is a close second!

Our Yearbook Needs Your Help!
Hello Terrific Tiger Scholars and Families! In an effort to streamline the communication from the Yearbook Staff to our student body, we have put together a Google document with links to the various Google forms that the Staffers are using to gather information for this year's yearbook. Please click on the link below and fill out (or have your student fill out) any of the forms that are relevant them? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gklTywFlDzfnqbNhbUHm3j4kM4Yc8-sbspl4w-BQh7E/edit?usp=sharing We will continue to add to this document as the Staff works on the Yearbook so please encourage your Scholar to revisit the form from time to time. We'll continue to post the link in the newsletter as well. Even though this year's yearbook is only in digital format, the staff is still working hard and trying to make it a strong representation of what this school year has been like. The more you and your Scholars contribute - the better it will be! Any pictures submitted will receive photo credit in the yearbook - please only submit pictures you are willing for us to use. Thank you for all of your support and contributions!
