GENERAL NEWS
Principal's Corner
Families! We have been graced with beautiful weather over the past few weeks! Let's take advantage of it and go out with family and walk! Remember to mask up and keep your distance from others. We have two weeks of learning before Spring Break and hybrid learning occurs. Please remember to help get your scholar ready to transition, whether he/she will continue distant learning or taking part in hybrid learning. We will still be virtual. Assignments will still be submitted via technology. Communications will still be distant and online. Students in the classroom and students at home will be presented with the same instruction, in the same manner. All students will still be expected to log on and access the materials via their computer. Students at home will be marked present when they log on. Parents/guardians, if your scholar is scheduled to begin hybrid learning in April, please have him/her practice wearing masks daily. Begin with wearing for an hour or so. Increase, daily, the amount of time he/she keeps the mask on. By the time your scholar begins hybrid learning, your scholar should be used to wearing a mask all day. We will hold a reopening virtual assembly for students (parents are welcome to attend). We will review the expectations for this phase of learning as we move toward the last quarter of the school year. It is our hope to improve the experience of all learners, whether hybrid or distant. Parents, we thank you for your partnership and your diligence to ensure we provide our best to all students. We look forward to your continued support during this Covid-19 phase, and partnership moving forward. Professionally Yours,

Dr. Washington

MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS
Science Olympiad
This weekend is the Regional Tournament for our middle school Science Olympiad team (Division B)! We're very excited and proud of all of the hard work our Olympians have put in as they studied their chosen competition areas this school year. Due to COVID-19, all events have been moved to a digital platform, so this is a new experience for both the coaches and the students competing. While you can't watch the tournament live, there is an awards ceremony that will be held via Facebook Live Sunday evening around 4pm. Check out the Science Olympiad Facebook page for more updates! Best of luck this weekend, Tigers! We know you'll do great!
