Tiger Tidbits and Tips from Ms. Green
|
Greetings Tenacious Tiger Fam!
Oh my, time is moving fast! We are gearing up to tackle the last few days of the first quarter for the 2021 school year. The last day of first quarter is Wednesday, November 5th!
Our Tiger Scholars can finish this quarter strong by continuing to check Edmodo for assignments, and by completing and submitting assignments by the due date. Scholars should also be sure to join their synchronous Zoom sessions timely on a daily basis and actively participate in virtual classroom instruction. Teachers are available for assistance via email or during their office hours. Additionally, scholars can further ensure their success by timely completion and submission of make-up assignments. Please remember to send communication to your scholars teacher within 3 days of their absence.
In addition to keeping up with scholarly academic practices be sure to make time for family, friends, and fun. Physical activity and time for recreation is essential to overall good health. Enjoy the sun of the great outdoors, socially distanced of course. Have a great weekend, stay safe, and wear a mask!
WE ARE CMIT-SOUTH STRONG!!

First, thank you for working with us during this amazingly challenging year. It has been a new learning experience emotionally, academically, and socially for us all.
Thank you, again, for being patient as we work through this new learning environment and other unforeseen circumstances that we run into. I am working on updating SchoolMax this weekend and wanted to ask you to check grades with your scholar in the next few days. Please reference this with the work submitted to me and check that I did not make any errors when entering the grades into SchoolMax. Please check Google Classroom for assignments prior to October 1st (10/1/20) and Edmodo for assignments after this date. I will do my best to update as many grades as possible.
Please feel free to email me with any questions and I will respond as soon as I am able to following the weekend.
