Last Day of School for Students
|
The Prince George’s County Board of Education voted on 04/24/2018 to extend the school year by three days to make up instructional time lost to inclement weather. All students are expected to report daily to school until the last day of school - June 20. Maryland elected officials recently passed emergency legislation that enables school districts to add up to five days beyond the state-mandated last day for students (June 15) to make up for days lost due to inclement weather. The last day of school for students will now be Wednesday, June 20. There will be a two-hour early dismissal on June 19 and June 20. For more information, visit www.pgcps.org/school-calendar-process.
