Season's Greetings and Happy New Year

As we say goodbye to 2017 and usher in 2018, I would like to wish you and yours a reinvigorating holiday filled with love and happiness. Thank you for your dedication to the pursuit of excellence in our scholars at CMIT South. I am proud of everything that we achieved together this year. I am honored to be part of this great community.

Best wishes for the Holidays, and may the peace, joy, health and happiness of the holidays be with you today and throughout the New Year.

A Holiday and New Year Reflection
Greetings All,

I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to wish the entire CMIT-South family a safe, happy, and prosperous new year. At this juncture, we must carve some time to observe and take note of all the things we are grateful and appreciative of as we reflect on our experiences in 2017. As well, we must embrace the light and learning that will take place as we embark on 2018. It is my wish that you grab pieces of happiness along the way and identify what is important.

The beauty about anything new is that it is fresh, crisp, and open to possibliities. I look forward to all that 2018 has to offer. I can smell the cleanliness and purity. I taste the fruit that were once seeds of thought. I can hear the knock on the doors that open to the oasis of freedom--creating a sacred circle for learning, healing, growing and having the ability to touch countless lives. My eyes are open to see what our families, teachers, and students intend to become in the new year and I sense nothing but greatness.

RENEWING APPEAL - DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
CMIT South will like to remind our families to pick students up on school property during dismissal. Our neighbors continue to express displeasure with the students' unruly behavior as they walk off CMIT South to meet their parents. Even more important, student safety is being jeopardized everyday the students walk off school property.

CMIT South is asking parents not to lead our scholars to do wrong such as encourage them to trespass on our neighbors' properties and as they do so, vandalize their property. Please help CMIT South so that the school does not become a nuisance to its neighbors.
