8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
|
Last night we celebrated the promotion of our 8th grade scholars at Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. HS. The students were adorned with greetings from a host of distinguished guests and received a powerful and inspiring message from keynote speaker, Ms. Lisa Phillips, scientist at the Department of Energy. The energy level in the room was amazing and it continued through out the night as each student walked across the stage to receive their certificate! Congratulations again to the 8th grade class of 2021, job well done!
A huge thanks goes out to the 8th grade planning committee as this would not have been a success without their support and dedication! On behalf of CMIT South Community, I also thank CLF Board Chairman Mr. Lancaster and PGCPS Board Member Mrs. Sonya Williams for inspiring our youngsters.
