Pick Up and Dismissal Time
|
This is another friendly reminder for students to be picked up no later than 3:10 pm. Parents are asked to arrive no later than 2:45 everyday. Please do not instruct your child to walk to the front entrance area. There is a designated drop off / pick up location where staff provides supervision.
Most of the pick up/drop off issues will be resolved if we all arrive at 7:25 in the morning & 2:45 in the afternoon. We are happy to announce that a "parking planning committee" has been established to improve drop off/pick up procedures.
Thank you for your cooperation.

8th Grade PSAT Report
|
All 8th grade students were provided with a copy of the PSAT 8/9 assessment to take home. The PSAT 8/9 is a test that will help students and their teachers figure out what they need to work on most so that they are ready for college when they graduate from high school. It tests the same skills and knowledge as the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10—in a way that makes sense for the grade level. Please visit CollegeBoard website below to understand the scores. Student should also have their CollegeBoard account now to access other resources to help them improve their performance. https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-8-9/scores/understanding-scores

Dear Parents and School Supporters, CMIT South proudly joined Harris Teeter’s Together in Education program to help raise funds for our school. It’s easy and it’s FREE. Simply give the cashier our code, 4200, and your VIC card when you check out and your card will be linked for the entire school year. That’s it! Or, you can also add the school code online under your Harris Teeter account profile. You only have to link your VIC card once each school year. Once your card is linked, CMIT South will receive a percentage of your Harris Teeter brand (Harris Teeter, H.T. Traders, Harris Teeter Organics, HT Farmers Market and purchases in the HT Pharmacy) purchases credited back to our account. This program does not interfere with your VIC savings or cost you any money! Don’t forget to link your VIC card to our account code next time you are shopping at Harris Teeter. Thank you.
