College Awareness and Leadership Program (CLP) Kickoff Night
On Thursday November 10th, CMIT- South held very successful College Awareness and Leadership Program (CLP) Kickoff Night for 2016-2017 academic year. Parents and students had chance to meet with their mentors to get detailed information about the CLP and CLP related activities during the Kickoff Night. We also hosted special guest from our management company, Chesapeake Light House Foundation (CLF), Mark Sutherland who serves as a Community Partnership Director of CLF. Mr. Sutherland welcomed our parents and students and talked about importance of being a part of CLP mentorship programs in terms of building strong resume in order to get accepted from colleges along with scholarships.

As a CMIT-South CLP Committee, we express our appreciation to all of our parents, students and staff members for their hard work to help us create such an effective leadership program. CLP benefits our students and prepares them for being one of the future community leaders.
