Julian Rose with Prime Ability
Julian Rose, Grade 10 was part of an organization called Prime Ability, which aimed to get more kids on bikes and off the streets. Julian was featured on Washington TV on passion Project. For Julien, cycling is a positive way to help children stay healthy and reduce stress, rather than using drugs and other negative methods people use to deal with stress. Intervention. He said his team's passion project is building bikes out of boxes. For Julian, the program allows kids to learn how to fix bikes, know the basics, and then join other local teams to learn the basics and even win a scholarship. The school has students who are passionate about cycling and believe they have the power to succeed in this sport. Bringing bicycles to school is also a way to improve student academic performance. Cycling has been shown to improve focus, reduce stress, and enhance cognitive function. Studies show that riding a bicycle is an effective way for children to control their attention and impulsivity.
