Six Flags Great Adventure has been cancelled
The CMIT Best Field Trip Ever to Six Flags Great Adventure has not been pursued due to PG District limitations. I apologize for any inconvenience. Remember that our team is working on another proposal, and we will notify you by email and newsletter once finalized and approved. This may not be a field trip, but rather something thrilling where students may be assembled. Thank you for your support, and I can't believe how much enthusiasm has filled my inbox. Thank you for initiative to patronize our student event. Student activities increased engagement and motivation to catch up with other students for social and emotional learning assistance.

EARTH DAY 2022, A Huge Success
The Green School team cannot express how grateful they are for everyone's involvement in the Earth Day 2022 program. Thank you to all of the teachers who, despite their hectic schedules this time of year, included Earth Day literacy into their courses. The fashion show, scavenger hunt, and tree planting lessons were all huge successes. Thank you to the teachers and students who helped restore the weather station, as well as the solar panel and mounting system, for our Earth Day items, which will provide some on-demand local values! All video activities and photos will be uploaded on the school website. We are currently reviewing the Publicity report in order to fully post the event.

Individual student reports explain student performance on the MCAP to assist parents understand how their children performed. An email was sent on Friday (April29)to understand the significance of this test. Another email will be sent by Wednesday and Friday as a reminder. CMIT students taking Algebra 1, or English 10, you must highly advocate to take MCAP Mock test. Ms. O'Donnell's 10th Grade English Students
As you know, the 10th graders will be participating in the MCAP in two weeks. We will start practicing in class: writing essays, multiple choice strategies, etc. On Saturday, May 7th from 10-12 we are encouraging ALL 10th graders to come to school and participate in an MCAP Practice test. It will be administered just as the MCAP and will be very helpful in preparing for the actual test. Please consider having your student attend. If you have any questions, please let me know.
