The 3rd Quarter Teacher Publishing Window has been extended to April 16th. Because of this change, the online release date, teacher/principal/SIT Chair grade change window dates, and Parent Appeal Window dates have also been adjusted. Muslims all across the world are going to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan starting April 13th on Tuesday. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn until dusk and do not eat or drink anything during the day and break their fast in evening. Ramadan is not just there for abstaining from food or drink, though - it is practiced mainly to build character and self-discipline, as well as increase awareness of true dependence on God. CMIT has many staff members as well as students who are observing Ramadan, so the CMIT MSA club is having a discussion this Friday at 7PM all about Ramadan and health benefits of fasting. We have a guest speaker Mr. Muhammad who is currently a medical student at Johns Hopkins university in Baltimore, MD. He is passionate about public health advocacy particularly relating to local and global healthcare disparities and he is going to make a presentation about Ramadan and answer your questions about Ramadan. CLF Bridge contest will be on April 24th as it was announced however there are a few updates in the timeline as below: The new submission deadline for proposals is April 18th, 2021 at 11:59 pm. Students need to include the bridge drawing in the proposal and send it to cbicer@clfmd.org. The video submission deadline remains the same (April 23rd at 11;59pm) The actual bridge testing will be held at CLF on April 24th and a sign-up genius link will be shared with you after spring break. If you need any additional bridge building materials, you may contact your school's STEM Coordinators or Cihan Bicer at cbicer@clfmd.org If you want to test your bridge before April 24, Please sign up : https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4aafa92da2fe3-trac Bridge testing days are Wednesdays on April 7 and April 14, from 2 PM to 5 PM in 20 minutes slots.
