Academic and Tutorial Services
CMIT Academic & Tutorial Services provide FREE enrichment resources to help our students manage classroom requirements with live online tutoring. Our vision is to build highly competitive tutorial services to help students in our school to ensure study & learning skills. Please check your student's schoolmax and determine if there are courses needed for improvement. Students' grades throughout high school remain the most important factor in college admissions. While colleges also look carefully at standardized test scores, essays, recommendations, and other personal factors, they view students' grades as the strongest predictor of college academic success. If your child or you (students) need tutorials, please fill out the form below and sent it to gclarke@cmitacademy.org as an attachment. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NYcBC-sD2Py0NHNl7MbvpZ0dMu2Ixu7NIIxazQsGb80/edit?usp=sharing _______________________ Interested in tutoring opportunities? CMIT STEAM Fair 2021 - Invitation
High school science researches can be educational and fun, but most CMIT high schools find it optional. Nonetheless, for all students who believe that science innovation and research are an integral part that increases our fundamental knowledge, here is your chance to show off your intelligence and expertise as extremely important to solve important issues pressing the future. We, the Environmental Science class of CMIT, are developing Scientific Research as a course project. Students will submit their proposals by October 16, 2020. We are extending this invitation to all CMIT High school students who have wonderful projects that need to be extended, supplied, or improved from their previous years. There will be five students from our school to join the district competition. These students will be taken from the Environmental Science class upon the students and parent endorsement and consent. If you are interested, please email gclarke@cmitacademy.org for other questions and guidance. Remember that we had the experience to be at the INTEL ISEF competition way back in 2012. (Please, see the link below) We want to continue to harvest the best inventors in our school. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/jack-andraka-the-teen-prodigy-of-pancreatic-cancer-135925809/ http://www.countyfair.org/

CMIT LEAD will not meet on Monday, October 12th due to Parent- Teacher Conferences, but we will resume on Monday, October 19th at 4pm, when members will talk more about their True Colors Assessment Results and identify leaders that align with their results.
