Parent-Teacher Conferences - November 11, 2019
|
On Monday, November 11th, 2019, CMIT North will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences.
From 8:00 am - 12:10 pm, parents can sign up for a scheduled time with their scholar's individual teachers.
- Please just the signup.com link to schedule your appointments: Link - https://signup.com/go/JjkgRfr
- Teachers are listed alphabetically on the website. Please check your scholar's SchoolMAX to see what teachers he/she has.
- When scheduling, please be mindful that we have 3 floors in our building, so leave time to get from one appointment to the next. If you miss your appointment, the teacher may not have any more openings to see you and you will have to come back at 1:00 for the open door session.
- Please only sign up for one session per student. If you need longer than 10 minutes with the teacher, please email that teacher to schedule a separate meeting on a different day.
- Please note that SignUp.com only allows you to put one student's name per email, so if you have several children who go to CMIT North, I would recommend putting both their names on the Student's Name spot and the teacher will know which student is theirs. For example, if I have two students name Sally Tiger and Johnny Tiger, I would put in Sally/Johnny Tiger in the student name spot. The other option would be to use different email addresses for each student. We know this is not ideal but we have not found a better system.
- The sign up will close on Friday, November 8th at 2:00 pm. You will not be able to add, change, or cancel any appointments after that time. Please do not switch appointments with other parents since teachers prepare for parents based on the sign up. If you need to cancel after Friday, please email that specific teacher to let them know.
From 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, it will be open door for all teachers.
- For the open door time frame, you do not need to schedule an appointment with the teacher.
- Open door meetings will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and should only last 10 minutes to be courteous to other parents waiting.

Unity Day - October 23, 2019
|
On Wednesday, October 23rd, CMIT North HS will be having Unity Day.
What is Unity Day?
- This is a day when can come together in one giant, ORANGE message of hope and support. The call to action is simple: Wear and Share Orange to make a vibrant statement showing support for students who have been bullied, and for bullying prevention.
All students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt on this day. Students must wear uniform pants and abide by other uniform policies. Students not wearing an orange shirt must come in an approved uniform shirt and still abide by uniform policies.
Orange Awareness Rubber Bands will be sold for $1 to students on Tuesday and Wednesday before school, during lunch, and after school to show support to stop bullying. All proceeds will go back to the students to fund more programs to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
