CMIT Academy and the CMIT North Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will host the 3rd Annual Athletic Banquet at 6:00pm on June 7, 2019 at the CMIT Academy High School Gymnasium. Student athletes will be recognized for their outstanding contributions throughout the school year in sports programs. Special honors will also be acknowledged for each sport. Parents, grandparents, friends, mentors and anyone who is a CMIT Academy sports enthusiast, get your tickets NOW! Tickets can be purchased for $25.00 per person online at https://squareup.com/store/cmit-north-pto. Cost includes one plated meal selection from Olive Garden or Ruby Tuesday’s, dessert, and a beverage. Ticket sales will end on June 3, 2019. Tickets for student athletes are FREE. Hello, CMIT Families: The end of the school year is near. While we will come up with a more formal plan around locker clean out, students can begin taking steps to bring home unused items and discard trash from their lockers this week. Additionally, we have an immense number of items in our Lost and Found storage. On Saturday, June 8th 2019 (9AM to 10AM), the Womens Varsity Lacrosse team invites all interested middle school and high school girls to the gymnasium at CMIT Academy High School for an interest meeting to learn about our program. As the first charter school to field a varsity lacrosse team (male or female) in the history of Maryland athletics, our program prides itself of our unique brand of culture in PG county; while adhering to our core values of "Commitment", "Perseverance", "Integrity", and "Sisterhood". All interested girls are encouraged to come regardless of skill level, we ask that you rise to the challenge and become a part of something special. Topics to be discussed include the program's philosophy and expectations, preseason conditioning, travel teams, summer and fall clinics hosted by colleges, middle school lacrosse club, the "High School Identification" Clinic, and a Q/A with coach and captains.
