Families: Remember to check your students' account to make sure that there are funds in it for this next week and when we come back in January. A number of students have dipped into the Principal's account, which is set aside to provide lunch in emergencies to students who do not have funds. We need to build this fund back up. Also, this is a friendly reminder that every student has their own PIN number to use to purchase their meals from the cafeteria. Several students are sharing their PINS with their friends, and the cafeteria staff will not allow a student to use a number that is not theirs. We have pictures assigned to most accounts as a check system. This is a particular concern for students receiving FARMs. If students receiving FARMs are caught sharing other people's PINs, both students involved will only be allowed to purchase items from the cafeteria at full price. Last week, students worked on posters in groups in Environmental Science! They designed posters on the energy pyramid, ecosystem, water cycle, carbon cycle, nitrogen cycle and phosphorus Cycle. They had a great time and learned by making the posters.
