ANNOUNCEMENTS
Ms. Coholic's BioGeoChem Homework
Hi Students, Just a reminder that you are to bring 2 small rock or stone samples to our next class. Along with your samples, which should be small enough to fit in a pocket (no boulders please!), be sure you can identify the type of rocks you have. Do your best to identify whether each is sedimentary, igneous, or metamorphic, and a common or specific name; e.g., marble, quartzite, shale, sandstone, pumice, obsidian, etc. Be sure you can state your evidence for the type of rock it is. If you locate a mineral crystal instead of a stone, that is OK too. Just be sure to identify the mineral crystal and provide what evidence you have for its identification.

Uniforms in Physical Education
Please be reminded that any student who currently has Physical Education should be wearing their PE uniform to class on their respective physical education days. Any student that has Team Sports with Mr. Snyder has class on 'B' days. If your student has me for class please remind them to wear the gym uniform for class as it is part of their grade. Winter is here and many of you like to wear boots, but boots are not permitted in the gym. Please bring or wear sneakers!

Health Class
We are approaching the time of the year when I will begin to teach Family Life and Human Sexuality. This is the part of the course that requires student permission slips to be signed by a parent and returned by each student. Each form must be filled out regardless of participation in this part of the course. Anyone not participating in the Family Life Human Sexuality portion of Health class will be given an alternative assignment and be placed in another room to complete their assignment. I am attaching a permission slip and it will be handed out. I am asking that all permission slips be returned no later than 12/18/18.
