P.E. weekly review -- Dance !!
|
Good afternoon parents/guardians and students,
I felt that we needed a smooth a transition back into virtual learning and teaching so we started out the month with our dance unit. In particular, how it relates to coordinating different skills that the body and mind have to combine to perform a dance successfully. There have been many excellent and new answers with each day. I hope all the students had fun with our dances we performed. The older grades may have a bigger dance project to undertake in upcoming weeks.
Lets stay safe and healthy while remaining active !

In Social Studies, students are in chapter 2 from our social studies books about making choices and different resources! In Math, students are learning about graphs, and in science, students have been learning about changes to Earth's surface! Students throughout the school are also working on their STEM Fair Projects, and they will be due in soon!

Social Studies- We are introducing measuring time! Concepts being taught include the use of clocks and calendars, as well as the past, present, and future.
MAP-M testing will take place on January 19th! Please note that students need to complete their tests independently for accurate scores. Thank you for your time!

Student Attendance

Student Attendance
Parents/Guardians,
Just a reminder that ALL students should attend school daily.
Help us ensure that they are logged on daily, and that they are not leaving class without notifying the teacher.
Daily school attendance is a healthy habit to pick up. If students will be out for any reason, please inform the class teacher.
Additionally, students should make every effort to complete assigned work. It seems that often they are pushing that submit button, without actually completing the work first.
Thanks for supporting the teaching- learning environment.
