Partnership with Keller Williams
Keller Williams Preferred Properties has partnered with our school. On December 11, they visited and distributed free dictionaries to our 3rd-grade students. Students had many questions and expressed their appreciation for the books. Thanks, Keller Williams. We look forward to a long and lasting partnership.

Grade Level Greatness
Makers-space
Great things are happening in Makerspace under the guidance of Mr. Cil Students are learning science skills and principles through project-based learning. Lessons are designed to support learning across curricular standards. This helps students to better understand that all subjects are connected in many ways, but that reading and comprehending will unlock this knowledge.

P.E. Weekly review
Dear Parents and Guardians, This week started our short unit on "balance" and how does our body create an even balance ? Grades K-2 also learned about different points of contact as they explored placing 1-4 points of contact on the ground during a game of freeze dance. The older grades 3-5 are still learning about and completing their fitness test. All classes will be done by the break next week.

Little Engineers
Students have been busy learning about Push and Pull in science. We have doing small experiments using cars, balls and ramps. Students are leaning new vocabulary for example, gravity and force. Students are very excited about learning about this. This week students were placed in small groups and they had to develop a plan how to make a ramp and get the car from the table to the floor. Students were given a problem and then they had to solve it together. Students came up with a plan and then asked what to do if that plan does not work. We had a lot of fun. In ELA students are beginning to research. Students will be placed in small groups and given a topic such as Community Helpers. Each group will pick a community helper to learn more about. Students will also present what they learn. In math students are in the beginning stages of addition. We are using terms such as addend, equal, and sum
