Water Testing Ongoing
|
To Parents and Guardians:
I am writing this letter to bring to the attention of our school community that we recently had our water tested and there were elevated levels of lead. We are currently having all water retested in our building. Due to Covid-19 restrictions all water fountains have been closed all year and all staff and all students have been provided bottled water each day since their return on March 17th and April 8th respectively. Thanks to our outstanding PTO and CLF we have more than enough bottled water for our Tiger family until the end of the school year.
Moving forward we await the results of the current water testing. The lack of drinkable water from plumbing does not affect our daily operation at any level. Additionally, a case of bottled water has been placed in each classroom and no water is being utilized for consumption on campus. I look forward to providing you more information as it becomes available to administration.
Educationally,

Spring Reading Fluency Test
|
Dear Tiger Family,
CMIT South Elementary will have Spring Reading Fluency Test in the Week of May 17.
Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade students will take this test.
The results will be utilized to track students growth and to provide necessary support.
Dear parents,
Please help our young scholars while setting up the testing environment with a working headphone set, and quiet room.
Please do not read the passage instead of the kids and do not support academically our students, in that case the data will not be beneficial.
The exact dates and times will be shared by the classroom teachers and reading teachers.
Happy and Healthy Springs
