2nd Grade Updates!
|
Hello everyone, from the 2nd grade team! Welcome back!! We hope you all had a great Spring Break!!!!
Students are continuing to learn a lot in each subject as we get start the the 4th quarter! All grades for the 3rd quarter in! Any other work will not be counted for the third quarter. In Reading, students are reading about helping in the community as well as past and future-tense verbs! In Social Studies, students are reading chapter 3 from our social studies books about weather, climate, and temperature! Students are also finishing their "Countries Around the World" project! In Math, students are learning about addition and subtraction word problems, and in science, students are learning about taking apart and building!
We have our career day at the end of the month, so make sure you complete the google form provided by your teachers to sign up if you are interested! As we return from Spring break, some students are starting to return IN PERSON!! Thank you to all parents who sent their children to school ready and wearing a mask! Students will continue being on Zoom even in the classroom so it is important that they have a Chromebook and charger everyday! If you have any questions about returning to school, please send your teacher a message! For the students who are not returning, you will continue your virtual experience as usual!
Thank you, and we are looking forward to kicking off the last quarter of the year!!
From your 2nd Grade Team! :)

Week of 4/9
|
Greetings Parents,
This was indeed a busy week as we welcomed back some of our students for Hybrid instruction. Students were able to acclimate to their surroundings and even though we are all wearing masks, it was great to see our tigers. This was the last week to turn in missing and incomplete assignments. We will be starting our new unit on Multiplying and Dividing Fractions Starting Monday. Thanks as always for all you do.
