Kindergarten News
Hello Kindergarten Families: This school year is going by so fast, we just completed our 8th week of school. Our scholars have shown growth in independence. They have mastered their way around the school going to and from specials classes, to walking with a friend to pick up their lunch that was dropped off at the office. They still need to be reminded to keep up with their sweaters and their jackets. We encourage you to please continue to label your scholar's items with their first name and last initial, and their grade level. If an item is found and it isn’t labeled, it is brought down to the lost and found which is located in the cafeteria. We are so excited to participate in “Pumpkin Day” on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. It will consist of a virtual field-trip to a pumpkin patch that we will watch after lunch at 10:30 a.m. We will learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin, how the pumpkin patch is maintained throughout the year, and all the cool things related to pumpkins. Our lessons for the day will all be related to pumpkins. We will get to explore the ins and outs of a pumpkin in our classroom. Thank you for the quick responses with signing the permission slips and returning them back to your scholar’s teachers. They should be returned by Monday, October 24, 2022, for your scholar to participate in pumpkin day. Please make sure that you add your scholar’s name to the permission slip were it is requested. Your scholar will be going home with a special treat at the end of the day. Book Character Day Parade will be on Monday, October 31, 2022.
