We had an amazing week in second grade.
Next week, we will be continuing our reading unit about our changing world. The question of the week will be, "What changes occur under the ground?" In class, we will be reading "Soil." Throughout the week, we will focus on Facts and Opinions, as well as Questioning. The spelling pattern for List A next week will be dipthongs: ou, ow, oi, and oy. In math, we will be beginning Topic 8. This topic covers working with time and money.
As a reminder, it is recommended that students practice their basic addition and subtraction facts with flashcards regularly at home.

As always, if you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher via ClassDojo.
Have a great weekend and we will see everyone on Monday!
