We have had an amazing first week here in second grade! For the past week we have been doing activities in class to work on routines, rules, and expectations. We have also be playing games to get to know each other. If you ordered school supplies over the Summer, we have started to receive those boxes in the classroom. If your child is still missing supplies, your child's teacher will be contacting you. We will begin assigning homework packets next week. As a reminder, homework packets will be given out the first day of the week and collected on the last day of the week. Late homework will not be accepted. Please stay up to date with ClassDojo and be on the look out for class updates from your child's teacher. Please note that the different second grade schedules have been attached. On the day of PE please make sure scuff free shoes are worn to school. We are looking forward to a successful second grade school year!

Great First Week!
We are so proud of our third grade scholars, their first week of school was awesome! Next week, scholars will continue to practice the rules and procedures needed to successful learners. Please encourage your scholar to prepare for school the night before by packing their backpack and laying out their uniform. If your scholar has not brought in their supplies, please bring them in on Monday if possible. Supply kits have come in and will be delivered to your scholar's homeroom teacher. Scholars are required to wear the proper uniform each day, and that includes continuous black shoes. On the day that your scholar has P.E., they must wear their P.E. uniform. The P.E. uniform consists of the CMIT t-shirt and the CMIT shorts , black sweats/shorts, or tan/blue uniform pants. If you are in need of uniforms for your scholar, please contact Ms. Ottman, CMITESPTO@gmail.com. "Your attitude determines your direction." I want to be "In YOUR feelings"
Hello Tigers' Den! I NEED You...to share with me your opinions and ideas. No, I wont invite you to come in and lay on my couch and ask you such questions as: "And how does that make you feel?" Instead [though that would be awesome and provide me with invaluable insight and information] for the sake of time and my own productivity, I invite you to please fill out the below Google Form. Your input will directly shape specific energies and efforts as it pertains to my School Counseling program this year!!! If you were a Tiger last year, you will recall this survey, and the publicized results, as well as the end of the year results shared. We had a fabulously successful year, in which you all played a critical role. Lets do it again! But this time, even BIGGER and BETTER! This can truly be our BEST YEAR YET! It takes just a couple of minutes [under ten, I pinky promise] to share invaluable information with me, that can directly effect your Tiger Cubs' experience this year. Just click on the link, and be as open and honest as possible. The best part: the form is completely anonymous, and so I will only see the input, not who gave it... share away! Here ya go, Your Input goes right here!: https://goo.gl/forms/W2s1D6cGbMJqXkC23 Lastly, get comfortable with my Google Forms because they aren't going anywhere, and in fact, there are more to come right around the corner.! Next Up: Seeking parent members of my counseling cohort team. But, more on that in the weeks that follow. :)

Graciously, Your School Counselor
