2nd Grade Updates
Dear Second Grade Parents,

We'd like to remind you to submit Picture Day forms money to homeroom teachers if you haven't done so already. Our students are to be in regular uniform for Picture Day on Thursday, October 26th.

We'd also like to remind you to help your child submit their STEM Fair topic to the homeroom teachers no later than Monday, October 23rd. The due date was Thursday, October 19th. Many of the submissions we have so far are wonderfully inquiry-based and student-inspired ideas.

We are planning for a Pumpkin Day. This will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM on Wednesday, November 1st. Please donate pumpkins (any size), paper plates, and plastic utensils so we can explore on that day. Volunteers are welcome! Please let us know in advance if you are interested.

Costume Party
Dear Parents

Attached is the flyer for the Costume Party on 10/30 from 1-3PM. Flyers were distributed last Thursday. Please look out for the orange flyers.

Permission Slips are due by 10/27. Once they are returned they can be put in the PTO mailbox in the copy room or in the box on the door of Mr. Tekin's room. We will keep a running list of all attending students on a google sheet.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QMUZXlVqrPjaMXqHwMVGNiBNud32XaA8pCEPSOMMJXE/edit?usp=sharing

On the day of the event, purple wristbands will be distributed to students attending for easy identification.

Student dismissal procedures from class to the dance will be determined at a later date based on the number of students attending. Student dismissal after the dance will follow car rider pick up procedures. Student car rider numbers will be needed.

Students with parents not in line for pick up at 3pm will be placed in enrichment and enrichment fees will apply.

Parents can volunteer to chaperone or donate bagged chips/bottled water on the following signup.

We are seeking at least 40 chaperones. If we do not have enough volunteers, we will sadly cancel the event.
