Sites in Baltimore, Frederick, Howard and Montgomery Counties.  Learn to think and problem solve like an engineer while earning Johns Hopkins University credit. High school students put engineering concepts to the test.

Spaceflight Institute
Spaceflight Institute will be offering camps in Maryland at the College of Southern Maryland and Anne Arundel Community College

Summer Camps with Mad Science
Grades 1-6. Locations in Maryland and D.C. Topics include: Earth, Space, and Beyond; Red Hot Robots; and 3, 2, 1…Blast Off!

TIC Summer Camp is a technology and sports camp.
Campers can focus on programming, robotics, web development, animation, filmmaking, and digital arts and music. Age range: 7 to 16 years old. Bethesda, McLean, Washington D.C.
TIC also hires highly qualified high school seniors to work as camp counselors for the summer.

Y of Central Maryland
The Y of Central Maryland offers a number full-time "Y Science" camps which focus on a variety of STEM subjects as well as a Beginner Robotics "Add-on" camp that children can attend in addition to other camps at the Y. Open the "2015 Summer at the Y Brochure" to see all the options.

Engineering for Kids Maryland Metro
A variety of engineering camps for kids ages 7-14 in Prince George's and Howard Counties. Topics include LEGO Mindstorms Robotics, Makey Makey, Video Game Design, and Chemical Engineering.

Allegany County

Center For Future Engineers: Robot Design
Grades 9-12. Come join us for a week at Frostburg State University’s brand new Compton Science Center. You will learn how to program real robots and build your own mobile robot. You will visit the engineering and physics labs and discuss career paths in engineering and science with professors working in various fields.

Anne Arundel County

Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County
Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County offer Summer Camps and programs at all five Anne Arundel County locations. The clubs provide a safe and fun environment complete with qualified staff and excellent programming.   Summer programs at BGCAA are for boys and girls, ages five to twelve, and run Mondays through Fridays, for seven weeks, from June through August.

St. Anne’s School of Annapolis
St. Anne’s offers a variety of summer robotics camps. Topics include: Engineering, Robotics, Advanced Robotics, and Animation.

UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY Summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Program

Community College of Baltimore County
CCBC offers many different STEM Camps at campuses across the county. Programs serve students from age 7 to 16 and include programming, robotics, animation, and video game design.

Summer Robotics Sessions
FIRST teams affiliated with PIE3 offer a series of summer robotics sessions for 6-12 year olds at Freedom Optimist Hall in partnership with the Freedom Area Recreation Council.

Howard County

Summer of STEM:
Three week summer program hosted at the USRA STEM Education Center. Ages 11-13. Program focusing on robots and rockets.

Howard Community College - Kids on Campus
Kids on Campus provides summer camp STEM opportunities for children ages 7-16. Camps include: Droids & Bots, Elementary Engineering, Rockets & Robotics, Advanced Robotics with NXT, Code Breakers, and more. 

The hackground makerspace offers periodic robotics and STEM camps and workshops.

Snapology of Baltimore - Washington
The Snapology Discovery Center in Columbia holds a variety of week-long morning and afternoon LEGO and robotics camps for ages 5 - 13.

IO Workshop
The IO Workshop in Columbia offers a variety of hands-on STEAM programs at Camp IO in the summer for 5-12 year olds.

Montgomery County

The Great Adventure Lab
Science & Engineering Summer Camps for grades K-6. Silver Spring and Potomac, MD.  Join them for LEGO robotics, bridge building, [safe] explosions and huge fun! Older campers will also explore the world of 3D Design and Printing, video game programming, electronics, Rockets & Race Cars and Invention Lab.

Woods Academy

RE & GP Camp at The Woods Academy.
Join campers for Robotics Engineering & Game Play Camp at The Woods Academy in Bethesda MD.  Each student will utilize: ROBOT KITS & A PERSONAL COMPUTER. Students will be grouped by age and/or can be grouped with their friends. The amount of activities are limitless. Students will compete in fun games and competitions and build and program several new and exciting robots: Lego & Tetrix (for older students). Students will learn NXT & EV-3 programming and can learn RobotC programming.

Prince George's County

Patriots Technology Training Center
Grades 5-9.  June 29 - July 24th.  Summer Camp on Technology - Amusement Park Design, Prince George's Community College.
Patriots has partnered with Six Flags Amusement Park. Our campers will have an authentic "behind the scenes" feel for STEM careers at its best by observing the day to day operations of how park rides are designed, understanding the professional use for social media, business marketing and advertising.

iEngineer @ UMD-Summer STEM

iEngineer at the University of Maryland is a summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) camp for rising 4th and 5th grade students.

Stepping Stones to Your Future (Engineering Summer Camp)
Stepping Stones to your future is an annual summer engineering camp for rising 7th and 8th graders, offered by the University of Maryland, College Park. This one-week commuter camp is an excellent opportunity for young men and women who are interested in science and engineering to work with current University of Maryland students on a variety of fun and hands-on engineering activities.

S.P.I.C.E. Camp
S.P.I.C.E. Camp is a week long commuter program for young women who will be entering the 9th and 10th grade next fall and would like to learn more about engineering.

Summer LEGO Robotics Camp
The Summer LEGO Robotics Camp will introduce rising 5th and 6th grade children to building and programming robots using LEGO Mindstorms. Students will learn mechanical design, construction, programming and teamwork skills.

Washington, DC

Mad Science of Washington, DC
Mad Science camps offer a daily combination of in-class discovery and exploration, outdoor games and physical activities, and hands-on applications of the scientific principles presented. Your child will be able touch, see, hear, smell and taste what science is really all about. Campers create, build and assemble a variety of take-home projects while exploring how science affects the world around us. 

National Society of Black Engineers Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) Camp
NSBE’s Summer Engineering Experience for Kids camps have made a huge impact on young people in Washington, DC. The program is intended to build a pipeline of future engineers. SEEK has touched the lives of more than 600 elementary and middle school students. In Washington, DC the Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) is a three week day camp for elementary school students currently in grades 3-5 and grades 6-8.  This is an all day commuter program.   NSBE has designed the SEEK Camp to be a fun and engaging educational experience for all students.  The overall goal of the camp is to show students what engineering is about and give them additional skills and confidence in math and science.
